Big Lottery Fund

The Big Lottery Fund is the largest funder of community projects in the UK, using money raised by National Lottery players for good causes.

It puts people in the lead to improve their lives and communities, often through small, local projects. Every year it invests more than £650 million and
awards around 12,000 grants across the UK for health, education, environment and charitable purposes.

If you would like to find out more about funding please go to Big Lottery Fund website or call its Big Advice Line on 0345 4 10 20 30.

National Lottery funding

On average, over £30 million is raised every week for Good Causes and over half a million projects have now been funded. For every ticket sold, a proportion goes to funding projects big and small across the nation, through 12 specialist organisations who distribute this money to projects supporting communities, arts, sport and heritage.
